Wakakirri Eisteddfod

This program is avaliable durring non-school production years and is open to any interested student, girl or boy with dancing ability. Students must be willing to attend regular dance practices during lunch times.

Wakakirri is a story told on stage in an imaginative way using music, dance, movement, acting and dramatic content. Groups of at least 20 students will be  performing in a professional theatre on the night of the competition with several other primary schools.

This program is dependent on the support of parents for costumes and prop making, and on a dance teacher or parent with expertise in Dance and Drama. 

Students who are musical, rhythmical and enjoy drama, thrive on the Wakakirri program and grow in confidence.
