Year 5 Community Involvement Program

This program is very popular and successful. The children love it! It involves the Y5’s working in the community, interacting with different community groups and learning to be a caring and helpful citizen.

The children are divided into small groups and are placed in community centres such as local kindergartens, preschools and Nursing Homes for an hour per week over a period of about six weeks. This program will take place in Term 3 and is also dependent on parent support for assistance with  transportation of the students to the venues and back to school.
