This year the Camelot Rise PS Annual Footy Fever Day will be a little different. Although some will be a little disappointed that the footy kicking competition, footy lunch and parade will not be held, we are still going to celebrate and have some fun.
On Friday the 18th of September, students and staff (and family members) will be encouraged to wear their footy colours to “class” and participate in some fun activities. You may even like to have your own meat pie and sauce for lunch and have a kick of the footy at break time to keep with the theme of the day. Teachers will also add some fun activities to their plan for the day.
On this day we will also support the ‘Fight Cancer Foundation Footy Colours Day’. This is a national fundraising campaign that helps kids with cancer. These children are especially vulnerable to COVID-19 and are facing prolonged isolation due to their weakened immune system. They need support now more than ever. Every dollar raised from the Footy Colours Day event goes directly to help kids with cancer keep up with school while they receive and recover from cancer treatment.
You can donate to the Camelot Rise Primary School ‘Fight Cancer Foundation Footy Colours Day’ fundraiser page by clicking the below.
Looking forward to a fun day and thank you for your support.
