Enrolling at Camelot Rise Primary School
Enrolments for Foundation (Prep) 2024 are now being accepted.
Thank you for considering Camelot Rise Primary School for your child's primary school education. We always welcome enquires from prospective parents/carers to discuss enrolment; the programs we offer and school life.
This year the government has introduced new guidelines for students starting Foundation (Prep) in 2024.
If you are interested in enrolling at our school, please complete the Application Form and send to camelot.rise.ps@education.vic.gov.au. If you require a paper form, please contact the school office on 98035344.
An enrolment form will be provided when placement is offered.
Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.
Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. To find out whether you live in zone, visit Find My School
All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:
-
students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time
-
all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.
2023 Enrolments (Foundation (Prep) - Level 6) and 2024 (Level 1to 6) enrolments (non Foundation (Prep)
If you are interested in enrolling at our school for 2023 (Prep to Level 6) and 2024 Level 1 to 6 enrolments (non Prep) please complete the Enrolment Form and send to camelot.rise.ps@education.vic.gov.au. If you require a paper form, please contact the school office on 98035344.
Enrolments for International Students
The application form can be used for international students unless they hold a subclass 500 student visa (a student visa in their own name).
A new international student application must be submitted for subclass 500 visa holders at International Student Program. The International Education Division will formalise the enrolment of these students through the International Student Program.
For further information, please contact the International Education Division at international@education.vic.gov.au or via phone on +61 3 9084 8497.
All enrolment forms must be accompanied by
-
Immunisation Certificate
As of 28 February 2018, an Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register will be the only form of documentation accepted as proof of a child's immunisation status. Documents produced by GPs or other immunisation providers will no longer be sufficient as a form of evidence -
Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport on their return.
-
Copy of Passport with the Visa Entry details or evidence of Naturalisation or Citizenship if the child was born overseas
We also urge that all parents with siblings who will be starting school next year to return their enrolment form to the school email address as soon as possible.
